Accountabilities
•Responsible for the development and creation of reports to meet Business needs
•Responsible for recommending process improvement to reduce time, effort and improve quality of reports for the Individual Division
•Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports for sales & distribution
•Provide sales results reports for payroll to sales & distribution
•Responsible for the development and enhancements/changes for the service level dashboards for all of Individual, which are used by management for FTE count and measuring service level standards
•Create policy/client queries for internal and external clients
•Create and reconcile the daily and weekly commission feeds for WFG
•Responsible for the integrity of the data in the reports. Inaccurate data could impact Business decisions
•Assess the magnitude and implications of each request to determine the best approach to resolution.
•Prioritize requests to ensure most efficient use of resource time
•Act as the interface for dialog between the business units and IT support personnel
•Provide the required support for any testing for new or enhancements to reports, queries, commission feeds, Web and Onbase
Qualifications
•3 - 5 years experience as a Business Analyst on Small to Medium Projects
•Post secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
•FLMI designation preferred
•Working toward Business Analyst Certification
•Post secondary education in Computer science or equivalent work experience.
•Effective negotiation skills.
•Effective influencing skills.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision.
•Excellent time management skills.
•General knowledge of life insurance and investment products and their distribution.
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills.
•Extensive knowledge of the Windows environment, including advanced knowledge of spreadsheet manipulation, databases, and word processing applications
•Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, Ingenium, VAX, FASAT, Peoplesoft
•Good understanding of Database Structure
•Good understanding of project management methodology
