Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with Business System Analysts and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage to maintain overall system reliability, performance and quality
  • Support the system development life cycle and project management methodology by participating in scope assessment, risk assessment and cost analysis
  • Analyze the testing needs and develop testing strategy and plans which consider business scenarios, scripts or procedures such as database impacts, software scenarios or usability
  • Perform test case creation, test execution and defect tracking
  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness and/or to mitigate risks
  • Deliver effective and efficient testing requirements by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ Quality Assurance Analyst experience
  • Strong knowledge of testing disciplines and methodologies
  • Results focused and a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL/Access queries, Excel, Word and Visio
  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry is an asset
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Content Management technologies is an asset
  • Experience with Test Automation is an asset
