Accountabilities:
Group Marketing Manager Specific Accountabilities:
- Sell Equitable Life group products & services by developing
strong partnerships through personal contact with clients,
advisors, and TPA's.
- Conduct financial negotiations with clients and advisors to
ensure the assigned block of business renews profitably each
year
- Overall responsibility for developing client/advisor
relationships and delivering on service expectations
Investment Sales Manager Specific Accountabilities:
- Managing MGA and Advisor relationships in an existing
territory
- Achieving sales targets for Segregated Funds and Annuity
products
- Attracting new MGAs and Advisors to Equitable Life
- Building relationships with producers through seminars, case
consultation & joint fieldwork.
- Delivering presentations to small and large groups of
Advisors
- Providing product and marketing concept training to
Advisors
Life Sales Manager Specific Accountabilities:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with MGA's,
AGA's, and key advisors
- Meet sales target and the number of productive advisor
relationships
- Support the Insurance Product line (Universal Life, Whole Life,
Term and CI)
- Maintain awareness of client needs for our products
- Case Consultation to advisors
Qualifications:
Generic Qualifications (applicable to all roles):
- Analytical and a proven problem solver
- 3+ years experience of sales/sales management in the chosen
field and with client groups
- Proven examples of negotiating and influencing skills to drive
sales
- Excellent presentation skills
- Above average written and oral communication skills
- Valid drivers license and vehicle required
- Regular regional travel is required
- Computer literate
- Customer focused and able to work successfully as part of a
team
- University or college degree in business preferable
Group Marketing Manager Specific Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of group benefit plan design; applicable
financial and underwriting principles; and, taxation rules as
applied to group benefit plans
- CEBS designation (or in progress of obtaining)
- Previous underwriting experience an asset
Investment Sales Manager Specific Qualifications:
- CFP, CLU, CHFC, TEP designation(s) preferred
Life Sales Manager Specific Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance products is essential
(minimum 3 years)
- Applicable professional designation an asset
