The Regional Life Sales Manager manages Equitable Life’s relationships with our entrepreneurial partners: the Managing General Agent (MGA).  This exciting and challenging role is tasked with delivering value added services to the Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking MGAs with the goal of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Accountabilities:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking MGA’s, AGA’s, and key advisors within the Greater Toronto Area on a daily basis
  • Meet sales target and the number of productive advisor relationships
  • Support the Insurance Product line (Universal Life, Whole Life, Term and CI)
  • Maintain awareness of client needs for our products
  • May be required to provide input on marketing materials
  • Case Consultation to advisors

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years prior experience selling life insurance
  • Bilingualism in written and spoken English, and Cantonese and/or Mandarin is preferred
  • Post-secondary education and/or applicable professional designation
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance products is essential
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Superior time management  and organizational skills
  • Above average written and oral communication skills
