Resources for EFAP clients
Welcome to your Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), delivered by Homewood Health®. The resources below will help you learn more about your EFAP, as well as promote it to your plan members.
Before starting, you can learn more about Homewood Health, your EFAP and how to access resources online in the video below.
You can access http://www.Homeweb.ca/Equitable to register and view your online health and wellness resources.
Follow these steps to learn about your new EFAP, and to promote these resources with plan members.
1. Plan Administrator Orientation
Homewood offers weekly orientation webinars to help you learn more about Homewood Health and your EFAP services.

2. Plan Member Orientation
Help your plan members feel comfortable with their new EFAP. Start by sending them an announcement introducing your new EFAP using our Plan Member email template.
In the email you can either invite them to a group orientation webinar that you have set up, or request that plan members sign up for an orientation webinar when it suits them.
Plan members will register for plan member orientation webinars here. Use this same link to set up a group webinar, and invite plan members to attend the webinar with you. As your orientation approaches, remind plan members using this Orientation Reminder Template.
Plan members can view the About Your EFAP Video or EFAP Orientation Video at any time through the link in their email.
Send a post implementation email ‘thank you for attending’, this should include a link to on-demand (pre-recorded) EFAP Orientation Video for those unable to attend, a copy of Orientation presentation slides or link to where this is posted, copies or links to the collateral.

3. Promote your EFAP to your plan members
There are many resources you can use to continue to promote the new Homewood EFAP to your plan members. Download them using the links below, then distribute to your plan members or post to your company intranet.
Homewood will send you their monthly Vitatlity and LifeLines newsletters. You can distribute these to your plan members to provide relevant health content and maintain program awareness.
