Life of Canada® just got
even easier with Equitable EZClaim™ Online.
"EZClaim Online is simple to use and makes the claims
submission process straightforward for our Plan Members," says

Canada. "Plan Members are now able to submit their claims directly
to us in an electronic format from their own computer in a secure,
immediate environment."
Available through Equitable Life's public website (equitable.ca) and the secure Plan Member Web Services
Site (EquitableHealth.ca®), EZClaim Online
employs savable Health and Dental claim forms that can easily be
submitted directly to Equitable Life.
"Plan Members can submit all types of Health and Dental claims
electronically by completing a claim form electronically, save it
to their computer and easily attach and upload the form and the
associated receipts using EZClaim Online," adds
Norma Crouse, Assistant Vice President - Group Claims. "It makes
submitting claims easier and results in Plan Members getting their
money faster without compromising quality or effective claim
adjudication."
In fact, 98 percent of electronically submitted claims are
turned around in one day by Equitable Life.
"We decrease the chance of fraud by requiring a valid receipt
and by reviewing all claim documentation and receipts to ensure
appropriate claim controls," explains Crouse.
"Plan Member expectations change but they always want their
claims processed quickly and accurately and they want their money
as soon as possible," says Mason. "EZClaim Online was
introduced shortly after EZClaim Mobile and this is part
of our ongoing commitment to make the claims process simple,
efficient and fast."
"Online, wireless or by email, our Plan Members have choices,"
says Crouse. "Some Plan Members prefer pen and paper or fax, or
just do not have access to a computer or mobile phone. It doesn't
matter how our Plan Members want to send in their claims, Equitable
