Eugene leads Equitable's investment and asset management organization.
Eugene brings 30 years of experience in financial services spanning investments, investment governance, asset management and strategy. Prior to joining Equitable in 2025, Eugene was Head of Institutional Business and President of SLC Management Canada, Sun Life's asset management arm. Over the course of his career, Eugene has held a range of senior level positions including Senior Managing Director of Canadian Public Fixed Income, and various leadership roles in wealth management, marketing, and strategy in Asia. Eugene was also head of the International Investment Centre that manages Sun Life's relationships with investment managers around the world.
Eugene holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University and an MBA (Finance) from McMaster University. He is also a CFA Charterholder and member of the Toronto CFA society.
